Blyolk is the moniker for Sebastian Chesney, a Melbourne based musician making warped pop.

Production encompasses melodic pop and spoken word vocals over crunchy beats, brass, guitar, synths and other lo-fi textures.

Blyolk has been sonically compared to artists such as Beck, St Vincent, Gorillaz, The Avalanches, Jai Paul and Nine Inch Nails.

The release of singles ‘Shun The Sun Because I Don't Breathe Youth’, ‘Artshole’ and ‘Don Wowry’ have seen Australian radio and blogs alike commend the off kilter tracks and ask for more.

Blyolk is also known for an energetic and theatrical solo live set and sold out his first headline show of 2018 at the Gasometer Upstairs in August.

Blyolk has curated and will be playing the Melbourne Music Week Live Music Safari event ‘Pop React’ alongside Huntly, Juno Disco and Tobacco Rat in November 2018. Blyolk will be release new music in 2019.
